Summary of Vacancy
To satisfy growing demand for assessment against ISO14001, EMAS and Environmental Reports, LRQA seeks high calibre environmentalists who are preferably already registered lead auditors (EARA/IEMA, or IRCA).
You must be qualified to degree level or the equivalent, ideally in an environmental, scientific or related technical subject. A comprehensive knowledge and understanding of environmental aspects and impacts, including relevant legislation and assessment of ISO14001, is equally essential.
You should possess at least five years’ environmental experience gained in relevant industrial sectors. If you have worked in the oil and gas, cement, construction, mineral, nuclear, paper, power, utility and /or local authority sectors, so much the better.
Experience in verifying environmental statements or EMAS would be an advantage. You will certainly have excellent written and verbal skills and be professional, pragmatic and credible, with a high standard of personal presentation.
These positions are home based but will involve extensive travel throughout the UK including periods of time away from home. You may also be required to travel abroad on an occasional basis.
Please apply with copy of your CV, a covering letter and current salary details, by email only to hrteam@LRQA.com
