How can ISO 9001 benefit my organisation?
The minor 2008 revisions to ISO 9001 clarified a number of points,after the major revision of the standard back in 2000, but did not change its intent or requirements. ISO 9001 is equally applicable to service providers as manufacturers with greater emphasis on customer satisfaction, process management and measurement, continual improvement and greater top management involvement.
