EMS Implementation Planner

This chart has been developed as an aid to assist with the implementation of your environmental management system (EMS).

LRQA provides a range of support services to help you both gain certification to ISO 14001 and then make the most from your management system. This includes support and guidance much of which is available on a free basis including: technical helpline on 0800 900012 available during office hours, access to our customer-only section on this website which has useful checklists and data and invites to special LRQA customer networking events.

This chart identifies a typical sequence of steps that organisations take when developing an EMS. It provides an illustration indicating a number of important (but not exhaustive) steps necessary to implement and develop an effective EMS.
