Week one of the LRQA roadshow - LRQA Live 15 - has been a success, with more than 300 delegates attending events in four locations around the UK.
Focusing on the significant changes to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015, the event received positive feedback from the attendees, who were provided with details of what the new standards mean for their organisations.
A key message from LRQA Live 15 is the importance of top-level management buy-in to the assessment process. David White, LRQA Business Associate, a presented at LRQA Live 15, said:
"Management buy-in is now not just beneficial but is compulsory. It is clear that top management need to play a more active role in your management systems and non-conformance will be raised if an organisation cannot demonstrate top management buy-in."
"This means the need to align strategic direction with business objectives is even more crucial."
There still time to book on to LRQA Live 15 and find out more about where you are in your transition journey. Week two kicks off 9 November -so why not join us at one of our remaining LRQA Live dates and learn more on all aspects of the new standards.
