Andrew Macleod of LRQA certified client, Needhams 1834 has been awarded ‘BCM Newcomer of the Year’ award at the Business Continuity Institute (BCI) Global Awards and Gala Dinner held recently at London’s prestigious Royal Courts of Justice.
Andrew was presented with his award by LRQA UK’s Sales and Marketing Manager, Kevin Smith during the Gala event which concluded the first day of the Business Continuity Management World Conference and Exhibition. The Gala dinner brought together business continuity professionals from across the country and overseas to network and share experiences.
This was the second time that LRQA UK took up gold sponsorship of this leading BCM event which this year took place at Olympia in London.
This year saw LRQA’s ICT Lead Assessor, Rob Acker, in association with the BCI, launch the results of the 2nd Annual Survey entitled, ‘The Adoption of ISO 22301’ during the standards and business continuity stream of the conference. The BCI Survey brochure, co-branded with LRQA, will be distributed to the professional body’s global membership.
