New materials providing guidance for organisations to help them transition to ISO 9001:2015 have been released by ISO's Technical Committee no.176, Sub-committee no.2 (ISO/TC 176/SC 2), the team responsible for the revisions to ISO 9001.
One of the documents released includes a Correlation Matrix detailing the changes between ISO 9001:2008 and ISO/DIS 9001:2014, which gives a comprehensive overview of how Annex SL affects the structure of the standard. The Draft Transition Planning Guidance for ISO 9001:2015 has been released earlier than expected to allow users to start planning the transition with their certification body. The other materials released include a revision overview presentation for general users and another document explaining the concept of risk based thinking as part of the revised standard.
The newly released materials will be useful for all organisations planning their transition to ISO 9001:2015.
