FSSC 22000 Food Safety Training

LRQA awarded global training licence from FSSC

LRQA has been awarded a global licence from the Foundation for Food Safety Certification to deliver FSSC 22000 training. As an approved Training Organisation, LRQA is now listed on www.fssc22000.com and recognised by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI).

This is a significant step for our food service offering as it means that LRQA can now deliver commercial FSSC 22000 training courses. The licence is only awarded to organisations with trainers who have sufficient knowledge and experience of the FSSC 22000 scheme and with training materials that meet their demanding requirements.

Cor Groenveld, LRQA Global Product Manager Food Services commented: "This licence is a testament to the skill and expertise of our training teams and demonstrates our in-depth knowledge of the FSSC 22000 scheme as well as supporting our ongoing focus on these two strategic areas."

Dave Sherring, LRQA Trainer Manager added: "This licence represents a major step forwards in enhancing our training capability in the food sector."

The first licensed training is entitled "FSSC 22000 Appreciation and Interpretation for Food Manufacturers". More information about this course will be available soon. Contact us if you'd like us to keep you up to date.
