Sarah has extensive experience in a wide variety of sectors and is a qualified trainer and practising ISO 14001 auditor, with a friendly and interactive approach.
With a background originally in environmental consultancy Sarah is a qualified IEMA registered Lead EMS Auditor, a full member of IEMA, participating also on a number of the IEMA panels and a Chartered Environmentalist.
For seventeen years Nick has served as a Consultant enabling organisations to implement effective management systems for both the environment, and health and safety. In addition, he practices as an Auditor working directly for clients testing their organisations compliance with legislation, and serving as an Internal Auditor testing management systems’ conformance to OHSAS 18001; ISO 14001; ISO 9001, and PAS 99:2012. Since 2006 he has worked with The Wildlife Trusts and developed a standard for Biodiversity (Biodiversity Benchmark). He continues to train; select, and oversee the work of The Wildlife Trust Assessors. He has also worked as an ISO 14001 Assessor for a UKAS accredited Certification Body. He has become a highly experienced Trainer within his specialist fields of management system implementation, and auditing.
As well as acting as an LRQA Associate, Mike is also a CQI Principal Examiner, works as a business consultant and also helps run an IT company - where his duties include strategic management and business continuity.
Previously he spent 15 years working overseas in Engineering and was Managing Director for an international management consultancy group.
Liz is a Lead Auditor, trainer, facilitator and coach who has worked with LRQA since 1992. She specialises in Quality Management training and led the development of LRQA’s QMS Auditor/Lead Auditor course.
Liz is an IRCA registered Lead Auditor, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, and an NLP Master Practitioner and Trainer.
Alan has many years of experience in a variety of risk management roles and is an ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 Lead Assessor as well as having specialist involvement in assessing both contact centre and legal practice management schemes.
He is a Principal Examiner for the CQI examinations and is chiefly involved with in-company training in both quality management and OHSAS 18001.
Dave has many years experience in the IT industry involving the management, procurement and development of real-time software systems. Dave is a registered ISO 9001/TickIT & ISO 20000 Lead Auditor and Certified SEI SCAMPI Class-A Lead Appraiser for the CMMI-DEV model.
Dave is an active member of the Joint TickIT Industry Steering Committee and is the first TickITplus Capability Assessor.
Paul Jackson is a specialist in corporate social responsibility, environmental legislation, greenhouse gas accounting and assurance, environmental management systems and associated verification services.
Paul has over 5 years experience as a trainer in a variety of the aforementioned disciplines and in a range of sectors and is also a Chartered Environmentalist, registered Principal Environmental Auditor, accredited lead verifier and Full Member of IEMA.
A Lead Assessor for quality and environmental management systems, Dawn is an associate member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) as well as the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). Prior to joining LRQA, Dawn worked as a Compliance Manager in the construction and aerospace industries and has lectured in Quality Management and Environmental Science at the University of Glamorgan. She has also delivered courses approved by the Chartered Institutes of Purchasing & Supply, Environmental Health and Civil Engineering . Today, her primary role is supporting clients in the implementation and auditing of ISO Standards, and delivering training to support the continuous improvement of their quality, health, safety and environmental management systems.
Lowellyne James is an accomplished trainer, specialising in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. He is the Course Leader of the MSc Quality Management program at the Aberdeen Business School, an Ambassador of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and a founding member of the Sustainability Advisory Group, Institute of Chartered Accountants Scotland (ICAS)
His qualifications include professional memberships of the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI), Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA), Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM)
A keen writer, he has recently completed a book entitled "Sustainability Footprints in SMEs – Strategy and case studies for Entrepreneurs and Small Business”.
Marek Bidwell is a Chartered Environmentalist, with over 15 years of experience working with major businesses throughout the UK including Northern Powergrid, Komatsu, RWE npower, Barratt Developments, and Northern Rail to reduce risk, increase efficiency, and train staff in HSEQ systems, awareness, and auditing.
He lectures on two MSc courses at Newcastle University (Power Distribution and Clean Technology) on environmental management systems, risk, and legislation.
He is founder of Green-Thinkers book club - a forum for debating and sharing sustainability ideas; was Chair of the North East Steering Group for IEMA from 2004-2012; and is now a Chartered Environmentalist Assessor with IEMA.
