How to transfer
If you already hold accredited certification with another body and thinking of making a change, we are here to help. From first enquiry to new approvals, we ensure the process is as smooth as possible.
An account manager will visit to discuss your needs and an assessor to audit your systems. In this way, we feel we can offer the most flexible service to help meet your changing requirements. Account manager Lionel Westall explains, “If you are thinking of making the move and hold an accredited approval, you can transfer your approval to us for the remaining duration of its validity.
“We begin by providing a free no-obligation review. At this time you would be under no commitment to change your certification provider. On this visit our assessors would look to review the current status of your approval and plan future surveillance visits. Typically, we would look at the following information:
- previous visit report
- changes to the organisation and management system
- internal and external audit reports
- corrective and preventive action
- management review
- current certification, standards and scope
- surveillance programme
“Once this visit has been completed successfully and if there are no issues outstanding, we will issue you with a new certificate and agree a surveillance programme. In addition, LRQA would normally look to maintain your current cycle of surveillance and certificate renewal visits.”
